Easthallow is a long term 5th Edition DnD game set in the eponymous city, a castle turned colony of the Kingdom of Lior in the world of Daedria, a homebrew setting. Heavily based on Ravenloft, the world has a fairly dark theme, with a heavy emphasis on corrupting power of evil, mortals turned monsters, and rare but epic moments of heroism, redemption, and light. While we run classic hack and slash adventures and dungeon crawls, there is also a social and investigative aspect to the game, and players that enjoy uncovering mysteries and secrets will have plenty of chances to do so.
We have a small but dedicated team of DM/STs, who between us boast over a century of combined experience in DnD, and would love to have more characters in our world. We use a Mixture of DnD Beyond, Roll20, and Play by Post for our roleplay, and are more than happy to assist anyone in getting set up if they need assistance. While we have a small established player base with characters ranging from lvl 1 to lvl 6, we have experience rewards set up in such a way that even if you start now, consistent play will allow you to catch up quickly.
If you're interested, join the server below, and say hi! We'd be happy to answer any further questions you have. :)
It's based in a small city/town and adventurers live there, and go out on adventures elsewhere.
As they get higher level, the adventures may turn into longer, more epic treks, rather than just a day trip to, say, smash some monster menacing the farmers, or chase that thieving goblin tribe away.
There is an over arching, long term villain, and an over arching major setting storyline.

There are currently multiple adventures in action that lower level characters are able to enter in to without prior knowledge of events.
