Paw does a great job of creating a fleshed out story with hours of work spent outside of the session hand crafting the story for the players. However while this trait is amazing where he truly shines is his ability to craft and create the story as we are playing it. He constantly refers to it as jazz. As we all know DnD can be normal one second and then the next your 247 years into the future after you pulled yourself and the boss into the astral plane (yes this happened). It is in moments like these that he has yet to falter and will deliver a cinematic experience beyond your expectations without any preparation. If DnD is Jazz he is certainly a Musician.
Paw is a caring attentive DM who focuses on encouraging role-playing and story telling. He works with all players to flavor classes the way the player wants to portray them. He is witty, and often creates entire story segments on the fly. Player agency is often #1 in one of Paw's groups. He is a fair DM who both awards creativity and punishes carelessness. He never strives to murder the party, but will not hold your hand either. He is by far the best DM I've ever played under. He is a huge believer in accountability and respect, and will not tolerate a toxic player/playstyle for long. Paw fosters a welcoming atmosphere, and if you are selected to join one of his campaigns you will not regret it.
