Experience: Some (  There will be a heavy focus on role play and character development, so this may not be the best choice for new players. However, if you are a new player looking for such an experience, then you are fully welcome and will be supported during your time playing to ensure the best possible DnD experience! )
Location/Timezone: Timezone is CST, and I will be starting the sessions around 6:30 PM CST
Schedule: The days sessions are open are Friday - Mon, and Wed. Each session is a continuation of the last in some sense. So while all of the characters involved will effect the narrative, the narrative can move on without consistent play Fri-Wed
Roles sought: Players ( there are at least 10 openings between the 5 available days, please let me know what day you would like to play!)
Game style: (High, Gritty Fantasy, A highly interactive world where the players actions create the story that unfolds!)

 You enter into a dusty inn, the crackling of a dim fireplace fills the silence of the room as you and your traveling companions enter the almost empty establishment. Across the room, once engaged in quiet conversation, two figures now stare at you as you enter. Behind the bar, a gruff man of burly build cleans a glass slowly, methodically, as if waiting to see what happens next. The figure across the bar, draped in a simple blue robe, turns to reveal himself as a weathered old man. His snow white beard falls to his midsection, and his eyes glimmer with intrigue and wonder. " Well" he speaks aloud , "you wouldn't happen to be those adventurers I hired to... clean up my mess. Would you?" The old man stares at you with intent, while the younger man behind the bar sets down his glass and rolls his eyes.
"Here we go again"

Outside the Portal's Door will use Tales from the Yawning as an outline for the major dungeon crawls of the story (Excluding the Tomb of Annihilation). Outside of the dungeons, the players can experience a more refined Faerun; complete with side quests, flushed out NPCs and integrated backstories that allow for the melodrama and adventure that arises from a well put together game of DnD. If your new to the game or don't know where to start with a character, no worries! There are 8 pre-generated characters that you use out of the gate or tweak to your liking. I have been working on this custom module for a few years now, and I am excited to share it with all of you!
