I am new and looking for someone to help me get into the game.

Please help me get into the game I have never played I do not know rules or how to play so I will probably be a burden and annoying but I want and am willing to learn.

Hi there! I don't have a campaign running or anything, but I'm more than happy to help you get the basics. I've both played and DMed before and love helping people create new characters. I also have a background in education so this is right up my wheelhouse. I could walk you through the general rules, you could just ask questions on what your unsure about, and/or I could even make a little tutorial adventure one-off to play through :D

You will be able to play any race or class from the D&D Books. Dm will allow
some Homebrew but he has to ok it. But will work with you. So character will
work properly with others & not be crazy op.
