The Dragonlance books were my introduction to fantasy literature. I love them, I still have my beaten up original copies on my bookshelf.
I'm looking to start up an in-person group of 3-4 players, playing a few one shots to get to know each other, and then jump into the Dragonlance campaign once the book is released on Dec. 6th.
I will be picking up the attached boardgame as well, so we can experiment with battlefield gameplay if we enjoy it.
Game Schedule:
Meet twice a month, weekday, or weekend evenings.
Intro Sessions
I’m planning to run a few one-shots, at the Mount Prospect Library, in one of the library's work / study rooms. We can use these one shots to get to know each other, before we jump into the campaign in December. Once we are all comfortable gaming with each other, we can discuss gaming at my place, in Mount Prospect.
DM Style / History:
My name is Brian, I'm 41 years old, and I’ve been playing DnD since the beginning of 5e. I’m married and I have a 5 year old daughter, and a new baby on the way. I have a degree in theater, so I enjoy the roleplaying aspects of the game, but I love to homebrew and mess around with the mechanics of the game as well. I’m a reactive DM, so the game will focus on character and player driven story.
I've DM'd since the beginning of 5e, I've run multiple multi-year campaigns. I'm currently closing out a D&D 5e campaign lasting over 6 years.
My games are open and accepting of everyone from all walks of life, my games are lgbtqia friendly, and will follow game safety guidelines as we get to know each other, and learn to play at the table with each other.
