I am currently playing my first campaign in person and really enjoying it. It’s a small all girl group of newbies playing the Lost Mine of Phandelver once a month. It is so much fun and we play a really absurdist funny game so I would love to play more often. I’m looking for an online campaign or one off game which would work with Eastern/Atlantic time zone (I am on the East coast of Canada). If there are any games that are open to new-ish players with a tendency toward the humorous I would like to join! As I’ve never played online before it would be great if the players/DM were open to helping me out with any rules etc.
Hey there! I've started a campaign with mostly newbies having joined in. I've described it to someone else as "semi-serious" with, right now, no dark topics being brought into the plot, and a DM (hi there) open to characters joking around. The seriousness of it just means I'd prefer a party that wants to focus on the plot rather than go off on murder hobo sprees because it will be a heavily rp, puzzle, and mystery-based campaign. I am also in EST, and those who are outside of it seem to be more flexible in times. This is actually my first time DMing, but I have played for a little over a year and a half now, so I understand the rules quite well and can help you out, as can our more experienced players.
Let me know if you would like to discuss further, and good luck to you!
