Players use all types of humor often aka dad jokes, satire, quip, etc. We use discord, roll20(sometimes). Video is optional. Voice is required. I have tried having people just use typing chat it did not work for me in the long run. Need to use bot dice in the chat so no cheating is possible unless you know how to load a digital dice program.
