Im new to this game and would like to join a campaign for Sundays. Morning/afternoon/evenings will work for me. I’d like to learn and grow so a group that likes to play for the long haul is ideal. Thanks!!
I'm also looking to join more games as a player. Sundays are my best days, though evening slots are already taken at the moment. Still have room for mornings and midday though, and I'm CST (Texas).
Does anyone want to play through the “Lost Mines of Phandelver?” Maybe talk about scheduling a good time for each of us to play. This game does need 4-5 players.
I haven't played it, but I'm more than willing to give it a shot. I don't know exactly which class/race to play, but we can discuss that at Session Zero :D
Don't premake characters! Make them with the group/as a group and with the DM. You have no idea what restrictions the DM might place on races, classes, or whatever. So, DM & group first, then make characters.
Hey, are you folks all sorted? Or do you still have room for another new player? I am a complete beginner, but I have a diverse background in fantasy/rpg games, books, movies, etc.
I think we're still trying to coordinate getting the group together. I have a Discord server that I originally made for my current (small) campaign, though I do want to see it grow into a full community. If you'd like an invite link, let me know.
We are just coordinating at the moment. I’d like to play on Sundays. I’ve never played as well, so this will take a hot minute to get together. I’m not entirely comfortable being a DM, but if necessary we can all figure this out on out first run through. We should establish a time on Sunday to play that works for everyone. I’m on Mountain time in Wyoming. I’m also free the whole day. I figure we can play an hour or two hours, but I cannot do more than that. Let me know!! Hope this can work out!!

Let’s do this

How do we start a campaign. I finally have made headway!! It’s going to be a slow start for me, but I’m excited!!

Right on! I’m going to make another character after I look this up. I have a half orc right now who is a warlock.
Or should I just wait to create a character at session zero?
I am ready whenever you guys are

so how do we contact eachother?
If you have Discord, send me a friend request. I can make us either a group DM or a server :)

I'm actually trying my hand at DMing this evening running a one-shot set in a homebrew world with some changes to the standard 5e ruleset ^~^
