Availability: I get done work around 3pm EST/EDT and am usually available from about 4pm onwards...I like to try to get to bed by around 11pm in the evening, when possible, to not feel so groggy in the morning when I wake. I can be available any evening Monday thru Thursday, but have commitments on weekends presently, and I am prepared to make up to a weekly commitment should a group be put together (though I am content with biweekly as well).
Preferred role: Player (definitely want to WALK more before I attempt to RUN)
Game style: I'm fairly flexible in terms of what type of game I wish to play. Mostly I'd prefer a balance between the acting parts and the combat parts, but both serve their purpose and I trust the DM to know when to use what to create an amazing story. I have listened often to several shows of various groups campaigns (TAZ, Critical Role, Dimension20) and find these very entertaining. I understand that most ppl don't play quite so vividly, and do not expect the same level of acting as these professionals (I doubt I could live up to their examples), but I have always enjoyed listening to the amazing stories and wish to have an opportunity to become part of and direct the course of one myself.
Other Information: I have character ideas in mind to bring to the table, and I am also completely prepared to create another if needed to bring to life a persona that best fits with whatever campaign the DM has prepared for his guests. I am happy to discuss this further. I am also prepared to purchase a Hero Tier subscription on the DnDBeyond site to use their systems should that be of benefit to the group and can discuss that with you if you wish.
I can be reached here, though I do have a Discord (Kyrikan#1328) and a Roll20 account set up and am familiar enough with them to use them if needed. I also have DnDBeyond set up and have purchased several pieces of their content to be able to have access to those tools for character setup and gameplay.
If this has caught your interest, please reach out. I understand the need for a DM to be "picky" when putting together a group to ensure everyone can play well and bounce off each other's cues and am happy to answer any questions u need to determine if I would be a good fit for what you have in mind (and I will be doing the same of course to see if the same is said both ways).
I look forward to hearing from you... :)
