Availability: Monday-Thursday evenings, with an end time of 11 pm if possible. I’m all for playing late occasionally for a climactic fight with the BBEG or whatever, but I have to get up and go to work the next morning, so I don’t want super late nights on a weekly basis.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: Percentage splits are never a great representation of what people mean here, so I’ll just say this. A dungeon crawl is fine as long as you can meaningfully interact with the monsters outside of the initiative order, and court intrigue is fine too as long as some of those nobles can swing a sword. Roleplay and combat are both fun aspects of the game, and I prefer getting to do both on a regular basis.
I’m just a regular dude in his late 30’s, looking to keep playing D&D. I’m usually on the DMing side of things, but I’m taking an extended break from that responsibility, and I want to keep playing. I’m light-hearted, easy-going, and punctual. I know the rules pretty well, but I don’t get rules lawyer-y at the table. I prefer gaming with adults who stick to PG-13 content. If you look at the spectrum of fantasy content from How to Train Your Dragon on one end for the kiddos, Game of Thrones on the opposite end, and Lord of the Rings hanging out in the moderate area, I’m hands down a LotR guy. If I sound like I might be a good fit for your table, let me know!
