Game: D&D 5e/with some homebrew/house roles Group type: Face-to-face Experience: New / a few years / veteran Location/Timezone: Jacksonville FL Westside (Greater Oakleaf Area) Schedule: Bi-Weekly on Saturdays, starting at 3:00 PM (until question mark) Roles sought: We are looking for 2 players
Game style: I have been writing and DMing my World of Zarius campaign for the better part of 40 years. Initially I ran games using the old Red Starter Box, but graduated to Chainmail, then AD&D, 2nd Edition, 3.0, 3.5, briefly in 4.0, dabbled in Pathfinder and now we run DND Next/5.0. I was in the military for over 24 years and played on almost every continent with players from all over the world. We recently began a new campaign, and need some new blood, new players. Collaborative Storytelling in a High Fantasy Campaign best describes the game I run. We have fun, don't take ourselves too seriously, but the aim is to further the story and the game/campaign.
There are in game consequences for in game misbehavior. Examples: You come to town and start murder hoboing everyone for funzors, you can count that the local heroes and authority will not sit back and idly allow it. Also - if your idea OF a fun game is the murder and **** of innocents - you've found the wrong game, move along. In my campaign my players are the good guys, not the villians. That is until I run my annual "Your only job, take over the world" campaign. Which almost always devolves at some point in the party betraying/killing one another.
During the bulk of the Pandemic I suspended our game, and sadly, many of my players have moved on - some literally moving out of the area. I had to suspend our game, as I meet the criteria as high risk were I to catch COVID. ***All players at our table are fully vaccinated for COVID and this is a requirement to join us. On this point I am not flexible.
