I need abandoned characters for a session I'm running with a few friends. Any edition - only a few details needed.
The players in this campaign are on a mission to resurrect a child that had been erased from reality. To be specific, I'm going to be recreating a particularly touching moment from a very popular game that involves asking my players to willingly sacrifice their characters after they succeed. Every time they come close to dying, I'd like to have help "from another world" appear, save them, and then vanish. For maximum effect I need these characters to be real characters from real people that have been donated with the "promise" that they'll never be used again. I plan on printing them all out, shredding them during the play session as they get used, and then having "ashes of creation" rain down on the board while I give the players their choice.
