Hello, my name is Jon. I am a 26 year old Male living in Minnesota. I am semi-new to playing D&D, however, I have watched it for many years and understand it enough to feel confident with play. I have joined a game previously that unfortunately fell through. I would love to be able to participate in a full campaign. I am willing to put in a lot of effort for the roleplay and playing part. I would like to present a piece of gameplay from my last outing.
The other players and myself had set up camp on the edge of the forest. After chopping down a tree, by punching it, Morhak (my character) heard a noise from the near-by forest. After convincing the party to come along and seek what made the noise, they found a pack of velociraptors. Morhak swiftly decapitated one, leaving it's partner to flee in terror. However, the thrill of the hunt was far to great for Morhak. He fashioned a makeshift harpoon, tying a rope around the end of his spear. He threw it at the fleeing raptor, piercing it's tough hide. Morhak would tug the raptor closer and closer as it struggled for it's life. It's fight was in vain, for once Morhak had him with-in reach, he slit the creature's throat. He took what he needed from the raptors, a claw, some fangs, eventually turning them into trinkets. He even collected the head of the first raptor which hung from his belt like a prize.
If you have any interest I would love to hear from someone about playing in their next game!
Game: Pretty open to trying anything, homebrew or otherwise.
Group preferred: I would prefer online through discord/roll 20, however, in person would work if we talked first.
Experience: Semi-new to D&D, many years in roleplay experience
Location/Timezone: Minnesota (CST)
Availability: Pretty much everyday between 3pm and 8pm
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I am looking for a nice, long, branching campaign. I don't wish for it to be super linear, however, a clear plot would be nice.
Discord: InfinityCritic#0588
Also, feel free to shoot me a message on here as well.
