It will be a laid back medieval fantasy with low difficulty, new and old players welcome. we will be running 2-5 CST on sundays, please leave how much experience with dnd you have and your discord in your reply
Hi my name is Dominick and is been interested in playing this campaign. My discord is nervousdomdom209#9438. I have several years of playing experience.
Hello. You can call me Audio. I'd be interested in joining aswell. I've been play 5e for quite a few years. My discord is Audiomagus#6593 hope to hear from you soon
I'm definitely interested in joining up! My experience with D&D has all been with 5e, since I just got introduced to the game two years ago. I'm still learning, however, but I'm a bit more experienced now! I'm still finding new things to learn though, which is amazing.
Hello, I’ve been looking to get a campaign in my Sunday slot and would love to help out. I’ve been a player and co gm for over 6+ years for mostly 5e but have dabbled in other styles like pathfinder. My discord is ironTHE NUKE#7973 and I’m happy to answer anymore questions you might have.
Hey my name is Caine. I have been playing Dnd for 3 years a mix of ongoing campaigns through it all and the odd one-shot here and there. My discord is DankestGonzo27#8145.
I read D&D 1e but there wasn't enough structure for me. Besides, Dwarf and Elf are CLASSES? 2e found me a home for 12 great years but jobs and such....3.5e got one campaign and Pathfinder got several one-shots plus the Pathfinder campaigns online. I have had three 5e DMs and played Solasta: Crown of the Magister and they don't play the same, so I would be asking what might seem newbie questions like, "Can I cast the same cantrip twice in a turn, once for main action and once for bonus?" (Answer I think is correct: "In Gugne's game, yes. Otherwise, let's see whether the cantrip is marked 'bonus action.'")
I tend to make characters who want to lead from behind, non-paladin high intelligence and/or high charisma squishy characters. I like to prompt players' characters along, like "Are you swinging that sword at that Bugbear, or using it as a cane?" Everyone has a slow moment, but I like to keep the action flowing. One dm found this inappropriate, so we parted company. Shame: interesting campaign, slow DM. If you're a DM who constantly eyes the initiative track and isn't above pushing a *consistently* slow player with, "while you pause to think, the orc bashes you and you lose your action," or if you don't mind a little "help," we'll have no problem.
A note on the *consistently* slow player: everyone is a new player once. If that's why players are slow, then my prompts are likely to spur the question holding them back, like "can I cast burning hands while holding a sword?" I view that as positive and always try to accommodate new players at all times. If the player is neurodivergent, I am, too. I might be slow on the signals (just because we're different than neurotypicals doesn't mean we're different in the same way, one of my differences is that I frequently miss cues) but, once I twig, I am very patient with people having similar differences.
I pass out. I go unconscious without warning for several minutes in the middle of a game. It doesn't happen frequently, but special handling (e.g., the DM plays my character until I rejoin reality/the game, short breaks for refills/emptying, etc.) is likely going to be required.
I wish I knew whether this was a Discord only game or whether you had a VTT (virtual table top) and which.
If you made it this far, may I please join your game.
My name is Eros and my partners name is Will and we are both interested. I have only about 1 year of experience as a DM and he has 4 years of experience as both a player and DM. My discord is SimpmasterHEISENBERG#5538 and theirs is @DerpMania04#4394
I also want to ask if homebrew is allowed because mine is homebrew(willing to work with you if you want to change anything about them)
Day of week? Time (+ time zone)? Planned duration? Number of players sought? Pick-up, one shot, campaign or something exotic? Voice only, voice & virtual tabletop, or E-mail?
Hello! I'm a very experienced roleplayer who is fairly new to dnd! I think I'd enjoy a test campaign as I really enjoy creating fun character ideas! My discord is FloraDogFarm#1318
What day(s) of week? What time/zone? Frequency? What edition of dnd (5e?)? Just voice, voice + discord maps/handouts, or virtual tabletop (VTT) (which/do I need to own)?
My name is Bill and I have been playing DnD off an on since the 80's. Last three campaigns were 5E, but I have played pretty much everything other than 4E. My last characters were an Elven Swashbuckler Rogue and a Bugbear Runeblade (homebrewed). Have played clerics and other spellcasters. Up for whatever class. Discord is Shadowspawn#1993.
