Recently moved to Toronto from New Zealand and am looking for a local group for some good games and maybe meet some local friends.
Started playing casually about 4 years ago and played about 4 5e games between lvl1-10. Since then I've also played a bunch of different one-shot type games and have created around 20 characters I've never gotten to play :)

I grew up in NZ, but have been in Canada since 91.

I'm in the Victoria Park and Danforth area (roughly). We've been mostly online during the pandemic, but looking to go in-person again soon hopefully (probably playing near Markham Road and Kingston). We are looking for new players for our current group to replace a couple that have left due to life circumstances. Usually wemplay Thursday nights. Yep, there are a few people here looking for a group, but Toronto is a big city, so if it's in-person play then specific location matters a fair bit. I may have found some people very close to me with an open spot, so I'm going to check that out next week. They play Fridays though, which isn't the best for me, so will have to see how it goes, and how well I fit in.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and Discord to see what develops as a second option.

Also, anyone LF Toronto G, I think they might have in-store D&D at Face to Face games (near Danforth and Main, and perhaps other locations) again now, and there are a few other stores that used to host games pre-pandemic. Also, keep an eye out for the Toronto Gamers Meetup group. Hopefully they will be organizing monthly Meetups again soon, and D&D is often on offer there.
