I am 27 year old wannabe artist, craftsperson, and experienced written + tabletop roleplayer (20 years of written RP + 10 years of tabletop gaming played~) who is looking for an open-minded, friendly, welcoming group to play with on almost any day/time of the week! My time-zone is PST (I live in California) but I don’t mind playing games based in other time zones, so long as it’s not after midnight for me ^ ^;
Most of my experience is with voice chatting (via discord) while playing, but I’ve also done one-shots that were text rp based, and thoroughly enjoyed that method of play as well!
IMPORTANT TRAITS in a POTENTIAL GROUP
☆ must be focused heavily on roleplay and character development, preferably with the ability to make some out-of-session written RP with fellow players! I'm not nearly as interested as campaigns that run 100% by the book with no added RP supplement :<
☆ I am an artist, who draws all of their own PCs, and other characters in my games a lot, as well. I would just DIE to play a game with fellow artists, if at all possible! (unlikely, but it’s worth a shot!!)
☆ must consist of at least MOSTLY adults (age 20+ most ideally!!). I do not feel comfortable discussing mature subjects with underage kids, sorry! (if there’s maybe one older teen in the group that’s not a total deal-breaker though)
☆ MUST BE LGBTQ FRIENDLY!! I am bi/pansexual and transgender/nonbinary, so it would surely ruin my fun to be disrespected or misgendered and whatnot :< ☆ I desperately want/need to make new friends. This is very important to me right now, so I would highly prefer a game with friendly, open people~

Monday: 100% FREE Tuesday: BUSY-- Evening 5e Game (temporary, can replace in schedule) Wednesday - Friday: 100% FREE Saturday: Busy [will be open in a couple of months[ Sunday: Free in the evenings
I love homebrew campaigns + content of all sorts, but pre-canned adventure paths are plenty of fun too! I also do not mind filling out any sort of in-depth application to join your campaign, should that be necessary.

Much as it breaks my heart to say this--nfortunately, my family is in a very desperate, worse than paycheck-to-paycheck situation at the moment, and I'm not sure I could afford or justify to my family spending a whole $10 per session to play a game I usually play for free....
additionally, my Sunday obligations usually end at about 3PM anyways, which would create some unwanted overlap :<
I greatly appreciate the invite though-- if you or a friend ever have another friendly but free game established like this, pleae don't forget about me ;w;

Unless you are willing to work out some sort of payment plan with me (perhaps I can draw some character arts for you to decrease fees, or work out a payment plan that lines up with my disability payments/extensive medical bills) I will NOT be able todo a pay-to-play campaign!! So sorry to have to share that-- trust me, it's an immense bummer for me, as well)....
My group is currently on a temporary hiatus due to one wrestling with their dissertation. Once we are ready to get the game going again, if you have not found another game, we would love to have a more detailed discussion about our game. It is an entirely homebrewed campaign with an even spit of heavy RP and combat. We are LGBT+ allies, are all adults, and we are free to play.
