Game: Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Group preferred: Online Experience: 8 Years exclusively 5e, Creative Writing & English Major Timezone: Central Standard Time Schedule: Flexible Depending on the needs of the Players Roles Sought: I can balance a game for anywhere between 4-6 players. Disclaimer: Due to the complexity and challenge of this campaign, there will be a DMPC that exists for the purpose of aiding the party and driving an additional story element forward.
The world has ended…and now it’s ending again.
Welcome to Krynn. 350 years ago, the malicious kingdom of Istar was led by a Kingpriest that sought to become a god. After the gods’ many warnings to stop this man were ultimately ignored, the gods took matters into their own hands. They raptured their most devoted followers and their families away, and plunged the world into cataclysmic chaos, tearing the continent of Ansalon into pieces and dividing the world in ways never before accomplished.
Now, the land is recovering in their godless world, but fears continue. The Knights of Solamnia are no longer trusted due to their part in aiding the Kingpriest, the Mages of High Sorcery are seen as an order of malicious witches seeking to monopolize all magic, and the Kingdom of Silvanesti mysterious vanished off the face of Krynn one year ago.
You, however, are a simple denizen of Krynn that is on their way to the Village of Vogler, whereupon you shall celebrate the life of a dear friend that has passed away.
If you have the gall, come to Krynn, discover the secrets of the past and present, and save your world’s future.
Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen is one of Wizard of the Coast’s most challenging campaigns yet. It shall feature many rewrites of canon Dragonlance events and a story unique to all else. I have plans for Character Creation, Homebrew Rules, and even how you all may enjoy the campaign. This campaign will be done over Roll20, with an avid mixture of combat and roleplaying. However, these will only be shared with those that wish to participate. I charge $20 per person, per session. The first session is not free, but I will be having free Session 0s with each person leading up to the game itself. The sessions will each be 4 hours long, give or take a few minutes in favor of creating a cliffhanger each session, if possible.
