Hello there,
My mate and I finished a 3.5 campaign a few months ago, loved it, and have been looking to get involved with another group. We are both fantasy enthusiasts with an endless supply of LOTR memes, vanilla WoW anecdotes, and AoE 2 strategic insights to offer. For a bit of background, we're both 26, living in NYC and working in creative fields. I am a motion graphics designer at Madison Square Garden, and my bud is an art director at an ad agency. I've been playing D&D and DM'ing since 6th grade. It started where you'd assume - a dark basement, playing with tiny wads of paper as figurines, and filling countless notepads with narratives and characters.
Both 5e and playing online will be new to us, but I promise you we are good folk to play with! In acknowledgement that we are kind of a group deal, I want to say that I believe our existing friendship is going to be a building point for the group, not a hindrance.
