The World of Dungeons and Dragons as a Therapeutic Approach to Complex Trauma
Are you 18 years of age or older?
Do you play Dungeons and Dragons?
Do you have mental health struggles?
If you answered yes to these questions, you may be eligible to participate in a therapeutic approach research study.
The purpose of this research is to explore both the need for and the efficacy of alternative role-playing interventions, such as Dungeons and Dragons, to process complex trauma safely. Participants will be asked to complete a demographic survey, be interviewed by the researcher, and observed during their Dungeons and Dragons gameplay. No compensation will be given.
The study is being conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.
