LFG 1 Newer Player - Good Combat/RP Balance

Game: D&D 5e ($10/session or less)

Location/Timezone: US East Coast - EST/EDT
Availability: Saturday/Sunday All Day, Monday 6:30pm-11:59pm
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I've done one mini campaign and love combat, as well as RP related to combat encounters, exploring and adventuring. A nice balance between combat and RP would be fun. In games beyond DND I typically gravitate towards support and healing and would love to accomplish this role within a group. However, since I am starting an in-person campaign soon where I will be performing this role, I am open to helping with ranged damage as well. I'm totally down for home-brew content including Critical Role, but would prefer a medieval fantasy/high fantasy setting. I'm open to working also with a group of darker-themed characters, anti-heroes, etc. However, I'm not sure if I would want to go full on villain/evil campaign. 
Character: I love making characters or coming up with ideas, and I have a few in mind when it comes to classes and flavoring. There are a couple Critical Role subclasses I am interested in, and there's a home-brew version of the FF14 scholar I'm very interested in as well. If I could work with a DM and group to incorporate one of these into the group/story that would be awesome. However, I will have a lot of fun with my other concept ideas if not! Either way I would love to provide a group with great in-combat and out of combat support, and explore an exciting world with other folks and work together towards a common goal.
