Looking for group - UK based newbie looking for weekly campaign - CLOSED

Hi all,

Sob story as follows: I've always been interested in DnD but have rarely had time or opportunity to play either as a child (no siblings or friends into it) or adult (family and work commitments) The online world and availability hopefully now solves those issues for me!

I'd really like to start from scratch with a lvl 1 character and campaign group and build from there, but am open to other new-player friendly opportunities and don't really have any particular setting / scenario in mind other than 5e as I have access to the Player and DM handbooks already. My ideal timing would be one week night per week around 8pm due to work but there is a little flexibility.

I hope to crawl a dungeon with you soon!

Well I was a DM for more than a decade.. and I was thinking of going back into the hobby as a player..  My style is more story and interaction than dungeon crawling.. and I started a long long time ago with Basic.. but I think I have learned enough 5e to run a campaign for beginners (role-players not rule-lawyers 😁).

If the three of you are interested and we can find a timeslot I would be willing to pick up the DM role.. would need to be online.. maybe add 1-2 more beginning players to have a decent sized party

Heyy, I'm UK base and looking for a group of people to play with. I have a bit of experience a few years ago, but I'm a little rusty on some of the mechanics now. But I'm really interested in getting back into it.

Ready to start with one more player.. no more than 3 more will fit as it is aimed at beginners and a very large group becomes too slow and difficult.
