Hello everyone. I'm involved with a group that's had some issues with players dissappearing. We have some open slots as a result which means room for new players.
The game we're running is a modified version of Princes of the Apocalypse. It follows the same basic premise of four dangerous cults based on Aristotle's classical elements, but it mixes that with homebrew lore. This may mean some slight adjustments if your character concept incorporates official material. Much as I love Eilistraee a follower of hers might have to be adapted to fit the DM's original pantheon. That said, we try to be open minded as much as possible and will do our best to make your concept work.
We do have a few limitations, unfortunately. The DM has chosen not to include Grung due to some technicalities in their gameplay. For personal reasons I would like to put in a request for NO CATFOLK. That means NO TABAXI and NO LEONIN. Please don't ask me why this is a rule. I just need you to trust that I have my reasons. Otherwise all other races are permitted
Our party so far includes an Aasimar Celestial Warlock, a dwarf fighter, and a tortle druid.

Rough Description: Vanzaphir was known to be an experienced criminal in his early days but nowadays is just a humble Wood Elf. He is 5'4 and has average length black hair and wears mostly green, having a nature-like aesthetic to him. He has quite peculiar interests like studying potions but also more tame ones like exploring. His most valued treasure is his staff of withering. His strengths are his strength, intellegence and wisdom. (Sorry if this is a bad desc, I've never written one for a DnD character.)

DND Experience: Have not played the board game, however I have played all the Forgotten Realm computer games so I'm familiar with the spells, attacks, and dice system. I'm also a big Critical Role fan.
What you’re looking for in a game: Role playing fun. I'm a writer with a theater background so I'm looking to create a well-rounded character and act the crap out of it. Combat is always fun as well.

Sometimes he feels she is guiding him and he is often heard muttering to her. He's lost, and looking for direction and a sense of purpose when stumbles onto your party.
