I know I've had a plug here a while back for a Virtual Tabletop campaign using the Above VTT extension for Chrome. I'm looking for anybody that's still interested in anything like that again that gets off the ground and keeps going. The story is already set (a mix of Dragon Heist and Acquisitions Inc.) and it'll be a hell of a good story if anybody wants in on it.

I’m totally interested, kind of a new player though and I may be getting a new job mid FEB so my schedule could get messed up. If you’d be cool with killing me off if that’d be great lmao:(. Btw what TZ / day were you thinking?
Just to add to the AboveVTT discussion, you CAN also get the browser extension for Firefox, and it works very well. I know some people really dislike Chrome, at least this way nobody has to feel like they are being forced to use it.
Interested. EST relatively new but I used AboveVTT

As a player, it's super easy. Install the browser extension, and log on to the DND Beyond site. When you go to the My Campaigns drop down, your character as listed will have a new blue link button that says, Join AboveVTT as Player. Click that, it launches a new browser window, where the VTT is hosted. You can access your character sheet from within, and by clicking on the modifiers boxes as usual, the rolls are generated in the VTT. I have two players in my online group that are tech-challenged, and they have it figured out.
It will be a shame though, that if this site as we know it goes away in a year, the AboveVTT team will likely be cut off from the API, and will have to shut down their work. My subscription expires in a few weeks, so I am already making plans to shift to something else if I find that it doesn't work for me as I need anymore, after that time.
I would hope as a player and DM that the current top people at WotC and DND Beyond could see that most players will not have computers capable of running their new internal VTT. Supporting an easy to use and more importantly, able to play on a potato system, could be a very good thing, if they are deadset on monetizing everything in DND Beyond.
Seen all replies. And yes, if you don't like Chrome, I'm sure there's Firefox alternatives that work very well. No need to lock somebody into something they don't want.
I'd really love to get this going. So, I'll start vetting players.
Disclaimer: I'll be travelling to Germany at the end of the month and will be out of pocket for about two weeks in February.
With that, I'm full on board to get this going.
EDIT: As far as the uproar with Wizards and the free content...I think it's utter craziness that they would do it. I've looked into alternatives and I feel the pain that a lot of us are. It sucks.
Feel free to mess around with the extension and what's current with the campaign.

I am very much interested in joining this campaign. I have been looking for a new campaign to play for a while. However, the biggest factor for me for joining is at what time the sessions will be held as well as the day. I am usually available during the weekdays, in the morning (7am -12pm) EST
Sounds good, all. Give it some time to get going and allow me to build the maps in the VTT. I can take a party up to 4. Looking at evening times from around 1900 EST for any live game sessions.
