Wanted to shoot my shot looking for a DnD group to play with

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online preffered for now
Experience: Relatively new
Location/Timezone: California PST
Availability: I am available on Sundays, Mondays, but i can make availability for sessions as well. usually anything after 5:00pm pst 
Preferred role: Player 
Game style: I have never really played the game before and know a little bit from games or videos i've watch on it, but i don't know to much so anyone i could learn from while playing would be fantastic! I don't mind playing goofy or seriously as well

Well, I was just about to make a post looking for players for a campaign I want to start. My ideal time would be Tuesdays every week, from 8pm to 11ish PST. (I'm in Oregon and work until 7 most days of the week. The campaign would be more of a survival/pioneering rather than a "band of heros clearing dungeons" type thing.
