Looking to run a dedicated Exandria campaign

Hey! Like the tin says I'm looking to make a dedicated Exandria campaign.

What does that mean? Well. I'm going to be following Exandrian lore pretty heavily. There are things that will be of my own creation of course, especially as the plot continues to move forward out of canon. But there will not be any incredibly large shake ups to the current lore and foundation of the Exandrian world in my campaign at the start/through character creation. What this means is that I want people to create characters that would fit into Exandria as we know it. Which means that I would like players that know the world they're getting into.

You don't have to be a mega fan/completely caught up or whatever. But I want people that have always wanted to play in Exandria not to just play in any setting. And I want the characters to reflect that.

I would like players to be interested in political intrigue but it will not be the gameplay focus of the campaign. More than likely 60/40 split Rp/Combat. But I like to run challenging combats. And love for my players to make the battlefield bend to their whims

Currently. The time of the game will be determined by the availability of all people involved. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are UNAVAILABLE but most other days should be fine. Start times later than 7pm pst are also UNAVAILABLE.

There will be a communal discord which is where we will gather for voice. And it will have a dicebot for theater of the mind battles and Roll20 for planned fights. They will be VERY simple maps.

I've been a DM for about 5 years now. I have an appreciation for the rules and doing things "RAW" ***When another option has not been broached with me!*** If you would like to do something fun that's not explicitly in the rules or is different from the rules PLEASE bring it up to me. It will go through a quick approval process. I appreciate creativity but also want it to be grounded in some form of logic yes?

Finally. This will be an LGBT friendly game and a 21+ game
