This campaign will have action, adventure, and lots roleplay! Each session will be held weekly. Please reply with your discord, your dnd experience, and any information you'd like to share. Interviews will be conducted on a first come first serve. Any questions for me can also be written here as well.
Interview Questions What is your favorite thing about DnD? What do you like most when playing DnD? What is your best memory? What is your play style? What is your preferred campaign? What are things you don't want in the game? How are you with a group? How do you handle a player death? Are you familiar with 5e rules? Is the schedule okay with you?
You do not need to answer ALL the questions here in this thread. Some if you want to be notice by me. Most of the questions will be answer through Discord.
I'm Chai. I run 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons. I enjoy roleplaying and combat encounters. I've played this game since for half a decade. I get most of my influence from anime, movies, books, and video games. That said, western and eastern cultures are present in my dming style.
Hi, I would love to play! i have played dnd but mostly with family and 99.99% homebrew/made up rules, I like the story making side of the game so i gravitated towards GM but i would love to try being a player. I know the basics of the rules necessary to play but most of the time when I didn't I just made something up and then googled it later(nobody ever suspected a thing) the schedule is fine its a bit early for me but i have done earlier discord is ZenK#1635
Yello, I would love to play with you and anyone else playing with you. I have played D&D before but have only played Ranger, Paladin, Bard, and Artificer so far. I am interested in your search for players as I have left previous D&D groups due to scheduling conflicts. I have all 3 as requested.
Hello I’m Jack and appreciate this opportunity. I would say I’m pretty good in a group also trying to offer some form of utility. I am very familiar with the 5e rules as it’s the only edition I played. The schedule works perfect for me. And my favorite thing about dnd is when the characters have such great chemistry that it feels like your just talking to friends.
Hi! I’d love to play, but I will let you know that I’m still in high school and a minor. If that makes you uncomfortable I completely understand! I have only been playing dnd for about a year and I have only DMed, but I’m interested in playing too. I’m only familiar with 5e but I’m happy to learn anything. This schedule is perfect for me, I’m in the EST time zone but I’m ok with staying up into the morning. I enjoy DnD because I really love fantasy and diving into a new world. I’m also really into character creation. My play style is heavily RP based but I also enjoy some good combat encounters. The only thing I wouldn’t want in a game would be heavy suicidal actions because I have struggled with that in the past and it can be a bit triggering. Player death, however is okay with me because I like seeing characters through their life and then being able to pick up a new one. My only questions would be how the discord calls would go, would there be facecam? I really appreciate how open you are to beginners! Thank you so much!,
Hey! Dad/Daughter combo here...I've been playing since 1st edition... my 15 year old is addicted to making dungeons and characters... but we've not had the chance to play together. Looking to change that! I've sent you a private message with answers to your questions...
My name is Justin, He/Him 29. I seen your post and was curious if you are still looking for players?

What is your favorite thing about DnD?
I love collaborative story-telling, and the magic that comes along with that.
What do you like most when playing DnD?
I enjoy a lot of the Role play aspects, but I also enjoy a good ass kicking fight lol
What is your best memory?
One of my very first PCs was a massive Bison 🦬 themed Minotaur,Paladin of Slyvannus. One of our party members was captured and was being loaded on to a ship that was setting sail. (Tonko, was his name and normally he was great at tanking but wasn’t very flexible when it came to much else besides battle and gardening.) buuuut the Whole rest of the party was incapacitated or down so Tonko ran to the end of the pier, dashing also using his charge feature to move a few more feet…. Then thinking that was the end and I had missed the ship… I desperately looked through my inventory and seen.. a potion of flying!!! So my 2000+ pound Minotaur paladin in full armor; in a charging rage jumped from the pier and was able to after a round or two of dashing, make it to the deck of the ship! It was a bloody battle from there on but a great moment of a nice forgotten inventory slot saving the day.
What is your play style? What is your preferred campaign?
I am very open when it comes to play styles, I enjoy an immersive setting and group, but I also like to have fun and I think there can be a happy balance between the two. I have played the game for almost 13 years, but almost all of that time was spent in homebrew settings.so up until a few years ago, I hadn’t really explored any official campaigns in depth. Now that I have done some peeking around, I am a fan of Curse of Strahd, Hoard of the Dragon Queen, also Rime of the Frost maiden.
What are things you don't want in the game?
I am very relaxed normally and I understand certain themes and tools are essential to creating tension narratively and can be used to unite a party. I would have to say my hard lines would be stuff I doubt would ever come up but any child abusive of any variety.
How are you with a group?
I have played the game for awhile now and almost all of that time was spent as a DM, I am looking to explore the other side of the table a bit more. With that being said I love playing with others, being able to tell an awesome story and have a great time doing it with your group is the whole goal in my book. Each group is very unique by nature so it’s always fun being able to meet new people and learn how they tell stories. I don’t have any weird control issues or hang ups like some other veterans DMs, I can respect the hierarchy and support others creatively.
How do you handle a player death?
I love the idea of PC death, not in a morbid way but the only “real” thing that you can loose in this game is your Pc. So to have a game that is refreshing, immersive, challenging, and engaging there have to be stakes and if death isn’t on the table then it sometimes makes it harder for people to connect with what’s going on.
Are you familiar with 5e rules?
Very much so.
Is the schedule okay with you?
Yeah I get off at 1pm-2pm central and am off Wednesdays
I know of the Adventure and have heard people review it roughly but I myself have never played it. A friend got it for me to run a few years ago but I have never found a group so I haven’t read it. I am a fan of the forgotten Realms books and R.A Salvatore so I am very familiar with the underdark and how tough it is.
my name is Heather and I’m looking for a DND game to join! I don’t have lots of experience as a player, but I have a really good understanding of the game through watching streams and my actual playing experience etc.
my favourite thing about DnD is the character creation process, and the storytelling elements. I’m a performer (actor) so I’ve always loved storytelling anyway, and DnD is just another medium for it! You can be really creative and decide your own story which means it can go anywhere!
my preferred campaign would be anything that is 5e as that is what I’m most familiar with, however open to anything as I just want to learn! I would prefer a more story-based campaign, not one that is just all battles etc. I think this adds to character development more meaning a more exciting long term campaign!
i have a few characters that I’ve created for fun that I’d love to use in a campaign (they’re public on my profile if you fancy taking a look or even giving me advice that would be super helpful!)
im available weekly in the time slot stated (based in the UK but I’m a night owl so late nights are great for me!)
hope to hear from you soon!
