Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: PST Schedule: TBD Weekends PST Roles sought: 4-6 players Game style:
You can hear the sound of water dripping onto the ancient and warped stonework of the desolate tomb that you delve. You can see nothing beyond the fragile light of your flickering torch. It has been a week since you entered the tomb, the skittering of creatures in the dark, and the ever present fear of falling scythes and spouting fire has your nerves up high enough that a nudge could have you releasing your stomach contents onto the fetid dungeon floor. Movement stirs at the edges of your vision, the party freezes. Two orcs, tall and terrible stand guard in the hallway, and growl. You could fight one orc, but two?!
Looking for a group interested in the dangerous and tactical gameplay of premier dungeon delving. No longer will your abilities be a match for the monsters you come across. In the dungeon, you must use all you have available to you and your wits to survive. The dungeon becomes less of a playground for power fantasy, and more of a survival horror challenge. Can you survive in the dungeon with only a day of rations left? Can you survive a trip through the wilderness back to town? Maybe if you stay in the dungeon for a bit longer, your supplies dwindling and your torch flickering, you'll find something that will make you scarier than what lurks in the woods.
I'll be using a set of homebrew rules to make it fun and cool, rather than frustrating to fight these powerful monsters, and of course, you'll earn your own right to power and heroism in time.
