Hi! I haven't been posting anything on the forums until now. So I would like to introduce myself!

Game: D&D 5e preferred, similar systems are fine too

Group preferred: ONLINE. I'm a Fan of Theater Of The Mind, but can include FoundryVTT/Roll20 etc.

Availability: Flexible. No Saturdays, not between 01:00 am and 09:00 am (translates to 16:00 and 00:00 PST)

Game style: High Fantasy campaign; preferably character & roleplay focused

What I love about TTRPG/Gaming: Fantasy RPGs, Critical Role, Tolkien, Baldurs Gate 1-3, Elden Ring, too much to list

Experience: As a player relatively little. Recently played with a group I found on the german D&D Community Discord for a few months, but the dynamics in the group just didn't work out. Played D&D and DSA a long time ago, but stopped for reasons that are unclear to me today. I've been active as a DM for a little over 1.5 years now and it's going really well :). D&D brings me so much joy and helps me share creativity, joy of life, and excitement with others, which I find to be one of the most beautiful feelings ever. That's why I would love to participate in an online group as a player. I have a lot of RP experience, especially from RP servers in Ultima Online and others.

privately, outside of tabletop and gaming: I like to do sports (gym + yoga), listen to a lot of different music (especially metal, D&B, and K-Pop) and also like to go to gigs, vegan, LGBTQ+ supporter, software developer, enjoy talking critically about social or philosophical issues (but don't force those topics on others), enjoyer of memes, occasionally help local NGOs and I am alternating between being very lazy/very active

I know it's hard to find a group without connections, but maybe there is some DM/group out there with similar tabletop expectations that would a appreaciate a player with much love & excitement to give. I'll also be on the lookout for fitting group announcements here.
