Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Group is experienced Location/Time zone: Online, we have players across 3 time zones (Eastern, Central, and Pacific) Schedule: The new campaign that we are recruiting for will be every other Friday at 8:30 PM eastern time, usually finish up around midnight Roles sought: Looking for 1x player Game style: We play a roleplay heavy style, though there are times when there is heavy combat- it all depends on what's going on in the campaign.
The kind of player we are looking for:
We don't care if you're experienced or new- only that you're 21+ and the type of person who can habitually show up to the game every other Friday at 8:30 PM EST. We play online using DND Beyond, Roll 20, and Beyond 20 as the software that links the two- it makes for a very easy game if you're new to DND. I own all the books you need and everything is free.
We are recruiting for the next campaign starting up in the next few weeks, titled: Reprisal of the Underking. It will begin 2 weeks after we finish The Curse of Strahd campaign that we have been doing for the past 2 years- that will likely end this upcoming Friday.
The group leans to fairly heavy roleplay, though we have had players in the past who were more into combat. I play a more structured, story driven style of play that is less sand-boxy but I try to make your choices matter and have true impact on the overarching story/plot. Our setting is the Forgotten Realms and we play a very traditional style DND game. We are friendly to all walks of life, including the LGBTQ community and do not tolerate any forms of racism, sexism, ageism, or other forms of prejudice. It's a judgement free zone over here- we're all just trying to have fun.
If you wish to apply, join us in our discord and let us get to know each other!
I am interested. I played a lot many years ago, but not very familiar with this online format. I have played many systems including dnd 2nd edition. I know there have been many changes since, but that wouldn't require much from a familiarity perspective.
I have created a couple of dnd beyond characters and growing comfortable with that.

Update: thank you to everyone who has reached out. We are no longer accepting further prospective players- at least for the time being.
