I am a 51 year old player / DM looking for a group in Las Vegas. I live in North Las Vegas, but I can travel. My information is below.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Face-to-face Experience: Veteran - I have played / DMed D&D in all of its iterations and most of its game worlds over the last 34 years. As a player, I feel I can roleplay with the best of them and am proficient in teaching new players the ropes. As a DM, I have GMed at both Origins and Gen Con as well as a few dozen other smaller conventions, always receiving top marks. I am a team player and love being able to roll some dice and tell a story with like-minded people around the table. I have written dozens of campaigns for different versions of the game (can convert them as needed) and most recently have gotten involved in the Adventurer's League. Location/Timezone: North Las Vegas (but I have a car and can travel)
Availability: My times are open, but i prefer to play in the late afternoons to evenings. Preferred role: DM / Player (I can do both, depending on what the group needs. I am equally happy doing either one.) Game style: I prefer groups where there is a campaign going on as opposed to episodic adventures each week (although there is nothing wrong with these for short periods of time). I like combat and role-playing equally. I enjoy making quirky characters that are usually beyond the norm and out of the box but are still team players and combat capable.
I know its been a while since you posted but wanted to know if you found/created a group to play face to face? And if so is there space for one more? I haven't played since 2E but been wanting to get back into playing again. I guess I'm a newbie for 5e but can be a quick study ;-)

I'm in the North West part of town. Let me know.
I also live in the NW part of Vegas. Have either of you found anything? I recently posted a thread in LFG.
