I have been Dming for a couple years and really love the collective story telling, the group of us getting into our characters even if we aren't good at making voices, and creating interesting encounters with lots of ways to solve them.

I want to put together a group, run a one shot see if we work well together and if we do put together a short campaign and see our characters grow. 

What kind of dm am I? I am a very open dm I don't mind you playing whatever you want to play. If your character does something cool I like to help make that thing shine and also create challenges for it rather than outright ban it. I am a bit like that teacher you dont like who always calls on the quiet kid. I prefer to see everyone get involved and have fun rather than watch 1-2 people dominate every session. A lot of newer players are nervous when they hear this, but once everyone is getting involved and everyone is overacting with their characters it winds up really fun and you leave with a new love for the game.

what kind of campaigns do i run? 

I love to run modules with lots of herbs and spices. I like the guiding story line to keep us down the path but I really love and I'm quite good at writing side stories and little offshoots with tons of detail in the world. You can do the main story but whatever path you walk down I'll always have a little mystery or story for you to uncover. 

What kind of players am I looking for?

over 18. I'm in my 20's simply prefer a crew around my age

people who prefer team play over loner play. I like creating tasks you solve together if you want to play a character that does their own thing and is secretive thats a great concept and can be fun, but I am not the DM for you.

I don't mind jokey characters as long as its in good taste and doesn't derail. I don't take this too seriously I think we all just want to have a good time on a tuesday. 

Prefer at least a little experience but I don't mind a few new players. 

Accepting of all groups. This ones an obvious one but D&D is a diverse hobby both in game and out. This group will be friendly and accepting place.

I'd absolutely like to run in this game with you. That sounds like a fun and involved game play. A very engaging atmosphere. I'm in my 20's as well and a single military dad. So that works with my schedule perfectly, which is pretty hard to find on here. I've only been in one campaign prior, so I'm still pretty new. But I'm eager to learn and get more involved with my character.
