Game style: I'm looking for more of an RP heavy game, but I don't mind combat. I like games with political intrigue and mysteries, could be small or large scale. I'm a storyteller at heart so I'm open to most topics, story threads, ideas as long as they are handled tactfully. I'm fairly flexible in the kind of characters I'm willing to create/play, but given the choice I like to lean towards problem solvers/smart/crafty characters. I have a fairly strong handle on the rules of the game and am willing to help newer players learn, while also being easygoing enough to not jump on mistakes or to let things slide for the rule of cool. Really just looking for a group of people who want to have fun and tell great stories together. Let me know if you think I'd be a good fit for your group/campaign!
I've got a fairly new campaign that's 4 sessions in, as well as an upcoming campaign. Both are using a third-party twist on D&D 5e called Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition. It is described as adding depth, but not complexity to D&D 5e. The first campaign is running Mondays at 6pm CST/CDT, currently with a group of 5 and a non-player notetaker, while the other campaign is yet to be scheduled. As a GM, I have about 7 years of experience and have used a fair bit of that helping new players become acquainted with the game.
