you have traveled  from the city of triboar  to the city of neverwinter deciding it was safer as a group you ended up traveling north along the long road instead of the faster route on the Triboar road once you have learned about your mistake you have stopped into the town of longsaddle and restocked your supplies before cutting through the long windy and difficult terrain of the woods of Neverwinter

as the story progress,  it will slowly become a horror campaign, also playing on introducing parts of  campaign modules to it every now and then as well as monsters from 1st 2 and 3erd edition to spice up the combat also   I'm planing on  lesser used content   for a example companions/pets crafting/ harvesting and  your  alignment will have an effect on quests how you  are treated and whether or patron/deities will continue  to grant you  your magical  abilities  

as of now we have a pally and a ranger 

Time  sat  7pm -11pm est

we will  be using dnd beyond and discord  and we will use some for off vtt, hand-drawn maps and some talspire   will really depend on what I have time to set up for the night

Game rules:    r.a.w   but  will bend if it cool      the leveling will be xp base  any 1st lv  class/race combo you wish      most unique and exciting backgrounds will be selected   as  backgrounds will be added to story

About me:  been playing dnd for all most 30 years    this will be my 3rd  campaign that i will be the dm

Ah yes, 1st and 2nd edition, where surviving was a victory and level drains were a thing. Overall sounds interesting though and it would be nice to be in a campaign where crafting was actually used more then once in a blue moon.

I think what I miss about 2nd edition more than anything is that fighters could become lord's and have x amount soldier followers. Made that class so OP after I'm wanting to say if memory serves me correct level 8 and went up how many by level and charisma.
