Experienced player looking for queer friendly group

Group preferred: Online preferred, but face to face works if you are in the Charleston, SC area
Experience: a few years (A little over 3 years)
Location/Timezone: Charleston, SC. EST
Availability: Monday through Friday after 4:30 and all Day Saturday and Sunday
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I'm a pretty casual player. I like RP, but I'm not great at it and need more experience being in the spotlight. My last group had too many moments where my characters didn't really have a place and no reason to interject themselves. I like characters that defy stereotypes and I leave backstories open for DMs. I'm extremely flexible and have changed subclass to as it was determined that the chosen subclass was too powerful. I like helping both in RP, so I will make a character to fill a hole in your party.
For an idea of my characters, at the moment I'm interested in playing a Peace Domain halfing Cleric of Cyrrollalee that is flavored as Friend Domain instead of Peace. Nothing would be changed except the concept of wanting and supporting friendship. Also all my characters are gay like me, so I need you to be OK with that. I do not break boundaries and have thus far not had a character have a crush or relationship with any other character in a party. The one time I was thinking about it, I made sure to get consent of the player who was going to be the source of the crush, but it ended up not happening for various reasons.
All I ask though is that if I am not working in the group (Frustrating you the DM or other players or anything), you just talk to me. I have no problems leaving if we're not all having fun. Getting passive aggressive with me or openly aggressive is not constructive or helpful for either of us.
