I'm a new player in Dnd, but I have a lot of experience in others roleplay games. I have 29 yo, I only played dnd roughly 3-4 hours maximum (Just on the spot at the job, a friend of me made me try). However, since I'm so eager to play, I might have spend more than 20 hours on the different books and dnd beyond to create character and learn the rules.
My first language is french (From Québec & New-Brunswick, Canada), but I can speak english pretty well. Just don't mind if sometimes I struggle for some world or complicated explanation, but we should be mostly aright. (That might just open some better roleplay regarding the common language ;) )
About what I'm looking for:
D&D 5e. Since I'm new to this game, I am really curious to see what the pre-made campaigns has to offer. So I would like to play one of the best rated campaign, at the discretion of the dm.
I like roleplaying and combat. I'm most likely to try to keep my character for a long journey/high level, even if I know that this is a game so we can die. But I guess (Tough I have very low experience in that game) that some roleplay gaming and exploration might help before getting in harder campaign if I want to keep my character. (Not just lots of xp/a big level issu from lot of combats)
I wish to play on roll20/dnd beyond/discord. Any day ≈ after 18h30 UTC -3 work and it can even be twice per week, if the group is ok with that.
Now, if the dm do a really good job, use good visual on roll20 and share the content of his different plan with us, I will be ok to pay a little bit, but I would like to see before. I also think that more than 10$ a session is a lot, but... I guess I could be convinced if the sessions are fun and long enough. We'll see...
Let me know if there's a group responding to all my wish!
I'm starting up a new game that would be perfect for someone new to the system but not roleplay. It's an official module that I added a bunch of stuff to so we can get into higher levels. I'd also be open to running more than once a week or adding in a solo session for ya
The group I'm currently DMing has recently lost a few players due to real-life commitments, so we're looking for new players.
We tend towards casual play, mostly roleplaying with some combat thrown in for good measure.
We generally play Thursday evenings from 8 (or 8:30) to 10 pm, Eastern Time.
We have used Roll20 in the past, but have been keeping it casual with just video chat and dndbeyond for a while. I've never tried Discord with D&D.
If that sounds good, we'd be happy to have you. We're in-between campaigns at the moment, so if you have a particular pre-made campaign you'd like to try, we'd be happy to check it out.
Hello! I've got a Curse Of Strahd game that would be Saturdays. Time is not yet decided and would be decided around players convenience. If you have any questions feel free to add me on discord at YourDM#6046. Hope to hear from you
