Greetings and salumptations to whomever may take the time to read this. I am making this post with the hope of possibly finding a DM or a group willing to/with room for a group of three people. These being myself, my spouse and girlfriend. Though it will have no impact on the game or in character just being up front of our polyamorous relationship. I can understand if someone may not be comfortable with such a thing and just making it known.
Our schedules are decently open, though if the game is on voice evenings would be best GMT -5 and GMT -6. We would be happy to discuss a game and character creation and the like should someone be interested. If anyone might be interested or want to ask any other information feel free to message me here, leave me a PM or message me on Discord at Zegethys#7111.
Hi, just some questions that might help a prospective DM decide if they're right for ya'll / ya'll are right for them:
- Are you looking for something specific, e.g. homebrew versus an official module, straight-up dungeon crawl combat versus more roleplay focused, etc?
- Any particular themes you do, or don't, want to be a part of your game?
- How often would you want to be playing, e.g. for voice: weekly, every other week, etc?
- For text, would you want to play at a set time (synchronous or 'live text') or on a post-when-you-can-throughout-the-day schedule (asynchronous or 'play by post')?
1. No preference for either since even a module ends up skewing off at least somewhat and between us I believe we have only done like two modules even. 2. Other than no overly detailed accounts of spiders ( spouse is extremely arachnophobic) no theme preferences besides what is normally discussed in a good social contract prior to a game starting. Just kinda looking for a game to be able to enjoy and spend time together. 3. If voice preferably weekly or every other week if possible with of course allowances based on life's happenings. 4. If text definitely PbP/Asynchronous as the term I've seen more aptly used play by text is not very conducive to adults with jobs.
@LordPride
I've sent ya a friend request so we may be able to discuss more over discord, though that does lead to two important things I had forgot in my initial post:
I (He/Him) have been playing D&D for about 8 years now, about 7 of them have been on and off as a DM. My spouse (They/Them) has been playing since AD&D so no shortage of experience there though almost entirely as a player. Girlfriend (She/Her) has been playing since 2019 so a few years under her belt as well.
Another addition as it's come up a couple times. While I respect anyone who is seeking to supplement income via a paid session and the time and work that goes into DMing, we are unable to pay for any games as our financial situation is incredibly tight.

Can you play AROUND 9am EST?
