Hello, 

I'm an eastern European player, that's why I seek players able to play around 1PM-7MP in EST. I'm trying to become a long term DM, after DMing some of my friends through a couple of one shots. Being new at DMing, I would prefer new players to join this homebrew campaign as I don't want you to have any false expectations. It supposed to be a learning experience for everyone involved. These are the "Houses of Castoria".

The lore is simple, easy to play with. Around two hundred years ago, a barbarian invasion had the duchy of Castoria, -which once belonged to the Empire- cut from the rest of the world. Less than half a century ago, the kingdom of Castoria was formed as an appropriate ending to the violent wars among the noble houses, the tribes of the Jarmantians and the mountaineers. After the king's death, his heirs tried to share the kingdom, but instead of standing together against mobilization of western tribes, they pressed their claims on each other. The scent of war ascends from the depths of the golden mountains once again. 

The players are tasked to survive the social collapse of Castoria. Only by staying together, they might have a chance against the horrors that approach. Who knows? They might manage to get politically involved in the current state of the kingdom and thrive. Although, before saving Castoria, they have to save themselves.
