Game: D&D 5e (open to other systems, but have no experience with them)
Group preferred: Online
Experience: Relatively new. I've played through a few one shots and have been part of a play by post game. Have made a few characters I like who are adaptable to new games, but am willing to make others.
Location/Timezone: US Central Time Zone, Texas Coast
Availability: Pretty flexible availability as far as afternoons and evenings go. Thursday and Saturday late afternoon/early evening as well as Fridays and Sundays are my best bet.
Preferred role: Player (trying to build experience to being a DM)
Game style: Still new to this, but so far I've enjoyed the roleplay side of this most, probably with a little combat sprinkled in. Have played casual one-shots, but I would like to sink my teeth into something a bit more involved, especially where interplay between the characters and backstory are concerned. Typically I try to go for more lighthearted characters with maybe some trauma in their background. Quirky and maybe a bit awkward, but not edgy and anti-social. I'm open to shenanigans, but anything overly overt I'd probably want to discuss beforehand.
That being said, more serious games also work. I will say my internet isnt always strong, so connectivity might be limited to posts or Discord chat/calls. Thanks for listening.
