I'm fairly new to the game, and I've mostly only DM'd out of necessity to get a game going. But I've always done homebrews and would like to get involved with somebody else's homebrew. I've got a few character concepts that I've been toying with. So, I'll post them and let me know if you'd like to add that character to your campaign!
First, A firbolg circle of spores druid. This firbolg is on a biological survey across the world to catalog and describe any species currently unknown to him and his tribe. HIs tribe is nomadic and doesn't have much contact with nonfirbolg folk so, he is inquisative but fairly inept when it comes to social niceties (read talkative but socially awkward af). He is VERY knowledgeable about different fungi, but is not so good with plants, and terrible with animals.
Second, a tiefling cleric of the grave dedicated to the elvish god sehanine moonbow. This tiefling was abandoned as a child by two human parents at the temple to Sehanine Moonbow. The elven priests raised him in the temple, but kept him behind the scenes due to societal distrust of tieflings. As part of his devotion to Sehanine Moonbow (Patron of travelers in the night) he has dedicated his life to roaming the lands in order to provide protection to travlers, and provide assistance to those whose time for the afterlife has come.
Third, a Loxodon Rogue/Wizard. This character is a dichotomy. His physical appearance is that of a large brute that would be good as a warrior, his outward personality is that of an educated social elite that studied as a wizard but never really became a master, secretly he is a deadly rogue assassin. He uses these differences to throw people off of his true intentions. Currently, providing assistance and guidance to a nobleman, he lets his gentle nature and reputation lull people into a false sense of security, which he uses to execute his targets.
