I'm new and i dont know how to play, would anyone be down to play together?

Without Discord, I suppose there are other platforms like Roll20 (which I haven't looked at recently but seems to have video) if you want a live talking game. The other option is to do a text-based game, either played live at a given time or asynchronously posting when you can through the day (also known as play-by-post or PBP). If you're interested in the latter, there's a PBP subforum here on D&D Beyond. Actually maybe we could gather a few new players and I could run through how to make a character, roll dice on the forums, etc? Not a full game necessarily but enough to get your feet wet and feel more confident to play with other DM and players.  : )

Hmm, let me think. I'm busy enough that I probably shouldn't take on running another full game, but like I said, we can maybe set up a thread over in the PBP subforum and have you and anyone else interested fight some goblins or something maybe.  : )
