Location/Timezone: Santa Monica, CA MAJOR REQUIREMENT: You must live or work on the Westside. LA Commutes Suck and I know them all.
Schedule: Friday nights 7:00-11:00 pm every other week to get started maybe every week come fall or winter
Roles sought: DM / Players - There's room for five players and DM at my place. (Starting fresh means I need four players and a DM)
Game style: I like when games have a combination of role-play and action. Too much of either gets boring but a full session of RP can be worth it when needed by the storyline.
Hi. I just saw this post while LFG. I live and work in the South Bay, so I could make it to SM Friday nights.
I played mostly AD&D 2e in college along with some Rifts and Shadowrun but that was 30 years ago (I just turned 50). I'd like to get started playing again in a local group.
I'm a quick study and can roll up a new character in 5e pretty quick, depending nom the campaign themes. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I'm up in the SFV. Newish to D&D. But, I'm 40/M and pretty laid back and enjoy playing. Are you set on Friday nights? I tend to go to parties Friday / Saturday nights.
I am set on Friday nights. The drive from the valley can be a bit insane unless you live close to the 405.
This idea is starting to take hold. I have a DM who is a bit reluctant to meet in person right now due to the increasing Covid cases in LA. But he is willing to start the game online with the intention that once it becomes safe enough we will transition to in-person gaming. We will start with Session 0 on July 29th.
I currently have three committed players and the DM. There is only room for two more players and it will be first-come, first-served. I have yet to reach out to a player I am certain will jump at the opportunity. This means the window to join this game is quickly closing. If I have messaged you, please respond ASAP to secure your spot at the table.
