Location/Timezone: PDT Schedule: I'm a teacher and have the second week of April off for Spring Break. My time off, coupled with the shear number of folks on these forums wanting to learn how to play, gave me the idea for a D&D bootcamp where we dive head first into a short campaign, play everyday, and take players from level 1 to 5. Now, I know this is not the best time for most people, but the date and times stand thus:
Roles sought: Filled/Empty slots: 1/5 Game style: Beginner friendly. Learning to play/roleplay. Learn to use DnDBeyond to create a character, Roll20 as a VTT, Discord for Voice Chat (and video if you feel comfortable with it).
Campaign Hook!
🏯 Defend The City 🧟Battle Undead 🕵️ Discover a Plot ⚔️ Challenge a God
"Congratulations! You've all graduated from Giant Grubs to something more akin to a Giant Centipede, now that you've finished bootcamp! But don't take this the wrong way, you are still a bunch of insects compared to what this city might someday be up against. Oh, yes. Knotside's walls may be tall. It's gates may be strong, but this was once the home--nay, the capital of the Anurian Empire. If you're still not sure what an Anurian is--suffice it to say they were elves. Long ago, and now all those undead in the Amber forest is all that reminds!"
The Dwarf, Captain Goldarm stopped talking as a messenger jogged up behind him. At the same moment horns began to blow, breaking the gentle spring breeze. The messenger, a young human boy, no older than 13, muttered something to Goldarm. The dwarf's eyes widened. The horns continued and now shouts were coming from the northern wall.
"Well, it looks like you'll have no Spring Break! An army is here, an army of undead elves are at the city gates led by Caustis Meyor. . ."
Caustis Mayor? Her voice was whispered on every graduates lips. The Caustist Meyor? The hero of the Camor Clash on the cliffs of Mount Camor? She'd been missing ever since--and now she was back with an undead army. . . but why would she march on a city she once swore to protect?
