Availability: Saturday evenings with a start time between 6 and 8pm
Preferred role: players
Game style: As long as there's variety, I don't care. I don't want to fight all day, but I also don't want to spend 15 sessions between fights because we're rebuilding a village and rolling dice for every nail we hammer. I love dialogue with characters and players.
About Me: I'm enthusiastic. I have a problem stealing scenes but I respond well to "knock it off" or "shush" or "somebody else's turn" because I don't MEAN to do it and I don't WANT to do it, I just get really excited and into the game. I'd love a DM that can manage that. If we can get that balanced out, I play one a hell of a character. I even do voices when I get warmed up (they're quite good, too). I'm loved at my other tables after some pretty painless boundary setting, and I've got some great dynamics going on with other players (I play on Thursdays and Sundays as well). It just takes me a session or two and some communication to gauge how much space I can respectfully take up. I'm quick, witty, creative, and incredible with improv. I'm also honest as hell with my rolls. I'm a writer by hobby and I enjoy helping others who struggle to write. I even have an enormous, deep, fascinating world I've built from scratch for my own campaign.
About my Wife: She likes a party where she can kind of riff off of somebody as they take the lead - and it doesn't have to be me. She's not very comfortable being put on the spot because she's always nervous about her knowledge of the game and she doesn't want to sound silly if she says something that "isn't a thing" or whatever. But she's happy to follow along and trust me, she can keep up. I married this woman because of her bantering skills, among other things. I keep telling her that nobody (or at least nobody that's respected in the community) is ever going to shame her for something like this. She's learning really fast and she's even corrected me on a few rules here and there when I DM! Super proud of her. She's got several sets of her own pretty cool dice, too. Plus I've caught her looking at the PHB. Who knows, maybe she'll come out of her shell :)
Last time we played, I was a tortle barbarian (guardian or whatever) and she a tabaxi soul knife rogue. We both grew up together, orphaned to the wilds (outlanders). She rode around on my back complaining that it was taking too long to get to the next score. I protected her. She'd hop off my back anytime we passed something shiny, as she was obsessed with coin and jewels. It was great fun to play a duo of intertwined characters, and we'll probably do that again.
We were in a session together and it cancelled. She also got a new job and it doesn't line up with the session that I DM anymore. We have no tables we're currently sharing!

We want to find a new table to join!
