Paid - The Doomvault

You are well on your way to becoming a renowned adventurer and have been summoned through the Bloodgate nexus to face a danger threatening the entire Sword Coast.

Szass Tam, Lich Lord of the Red Wizards of Thay, is extending his reach throughout Faerûn.  He sees all of Faerûn turned into a great charnel house, full of undead creatures which will do his bidding.

He has created the Doomvault; a massive dungeon containing laboratories use to create monstrous armies, train them and fuel Szass Ram’s ascension to godhood.  It also hides a vault containing the phylacteries of Szass Tam's elite liches who are fuel by the souls of defeated adventures.

You have four objectives:

• Explore the Doomvault 
• Deal as much damage to the Thayan Red Wizards as possible. Destroy the Red Wizards' monstrous creations and experiments to end the threat to Faerûn. 
• Learn how to access the Phylactery Vault and gain access to the Phylactery Vault deep beneath the dungeon.  
• Destroy the phylacteries within the vault.

Group Type Online - Fantasy Grounds/Discord

Streaming: No

Timeszone: Sundays starting 17/4/23 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm GMT-6. We can also discuss alternative times slots for a group booking of 3 or more players.

Schedule: Weekly

Play durations: 2-hour sessions. Each session can be played as a standalone one shot, but players can return week after week and progress exploration of different parts of the dungeon.   

Per Session Cost: $20 dollars USD

Pay Format: Paypal only (for convenience and ease of record keeping). I will send you an invoice when you decide to join. Pay session by session or multiple sessions in advance.

DM experience: 30 plus years, started with Red X at 13 years old became DM because no else knew what to do.  Now I mostly run 5e games

9th-level characters - 27 Point buy.

Starting Wealth

Normal starting equipment, plus 1100 gp

Magic Item cost

• Common - 50 gp
• Uncommon - 200 gp
• Rare – 700 gp
• No very rare or legendary items permitted

Game style

Playstyle: 70% Combat, 20% RP, 10% Exploration

Expectations: The intention is to run the session as efficiently as possible with maximum action, engagement, and fun. All participants have a right to be respected. Please align yourselves with the values of trust, punctuality, and positivity.

Notes: 

Minimum age - 18 years old, try to keep to PG-13, some swearing okay.

Internet: WIRED internet connection only as WIRELESS connections can be glitchy and this disrupts gameplay for others. Try not to use old computers that are unable to run Fantasy Grounds Unity and Discord in unison.

• An opportunity to play test a character concepts at mid-level before committing to an idea in a lower-level campaign.
