I am dming a long term campaign and sadly one of our players had to leave our group. So, I am looking for a replacement. A little background:
On the world of Faestara, hundreds of years ago the betrayer gods revolted againstThe Pantheon to overthrow the natural order of the world and to take power. After a conflict that lasted for years,the betrayer gods’ primary essences were destroyed and scattered amongst the planes. The Pantheon, greatly injured with wounds that would never heal, decided to seal themselves off from the Inner Planes behind theCelestial Gate so that no gods would be able to interfere with the affairs of mortals again. In the damage from the battle, many ancient races were driven to extinction, such as the titans, and the world was deeply scarred. Another result is that the majority of Faestara is covered in water, and the land is sectioned into different islands with a wide variety of cultures, environments, and creatures.
Today, these islands are categorized into different nations: The Verden Dynasty, the United Federation of Layherst, the Amand Kingdom, and those islands considered unaffiliated. Although there are conflicts between the three nations, most islands live civilly amongst themselves while paying for the protection for their respective benefactor. If taxes are paid and peace is mostly kept, every island lives their lives without tyranny.
