The year was 1475 in the forgotten realms. The realm is experiencing a time of great peace, rulers of neverwinter and baldur’s gate came to a truce, the trade routes between cities more protected than ever. The forests of neverwinter were cleaned out of pesky orcs and large trees grow higher than ever, giving off a rich aura to the surrounding area. The city of Neverwinter with its tall stone walls providing protection and peace to all its citizens. A time of peace was looked upon us from the stars. Or so we thought, One afternoon dark clouds filled the sky and black ash floated down from the sky. The smell of sulfur and sot rushed throughout the city and the Sun was blocked out into the darkness. What comes next may forever change our heroes….
