Campaign Intro:
Inspired by Roadwarden the video game. A vast forest named Blacktalon forest lies between the Union of Owlium and the Kingdom of Cendar. As piracy begin to disrupt marine trade route between the two kingdoms, Cendar has decided to commission a new expedition attempt to establish a trade route through the forest as well as creating a settlement capable of maintaining the route.
Campaign content: Gritty realism resting rules, 1 day for a short rest, 4 days to recover half your long rest features, 7 days for full long rest. For reference, fully a tile on the world map takes you 1-2 days. You automatically finishes a long rest when resting in a proper camp/settement. Explore Blacktalon forest, but beware not to overstretch from your home camp. Your home camp is the hub of your expedition, decides where it settles, expand it, build permanent buildings, invite more inhabitants. This is a survival focus campaign with an emphasis on managing your resources as you explore the forest, by upgrading your settlement, you gain more access to supplies that will help you out in the wild. Again, due to this being a survival focus campaign, some spells and features will be subjected to changes to keep the survival aspect of the campaign relevant.
What the players can expect Some bit of settlement building. The forest is dark and full of terrors... and opportunities.
What the DM expects from you Commit to your character Be cooperative and friendly to your party. Be punctual
