Game: D&D 5e, though I'm open to other systems, especially if the group alternates campaigns with one-shots Group preferred: Online-- I'm in Southern California (and open to in-person games in San Diego) but may be moving for work within the next few months. I've used Discord most often, with assorted VTT options, though I'm not tied to any particular tech, and may be able to cook up some custom web tools if the group needs it. Experience: Playing since 2e Location/Timezone: I'm in California, but often work on a US East Coast schedule and have weekends open (and have had some fun intercontinental groups in the past) Availability: Evenings (which for me means after midnight UTC) and weekends (EDIT: the whole weekend other than Saturday 10am-1pm US Pacific time) Preferred role: Player or co-DM/assistant-DM -- I've loved being a DM, but can't commit to running a campaign given other responsibilities right now. I can be available to run the occasional one-shot when the DM needs a break, and would be quite open to working with a DM (new or experienced) to build a campaign. Alternately, if people want to put together a ridiculous campaign where the role of DM jumps between players at irregular intervals, and everything is made up on the fly let's stream that! Game style: I'd love to find a group where people are comfortable taking the in-character drama and/or camp up to 11, with enough out-of-character communication to keep things cooperative (between players if not always characters). Rolls to chew furniture get automatic advantage! I'm quite comfortable playing a supporting role to give other (especially newer) players space to be the heroic lead while I play either the feeder/"straight man", the comic relief, or the quietly competent mentor. So I generally want at least a solid helping of RP, adventure, and improv, though dice-rolling and combat also contribute to the fun.
Consciously inclusive games, please -- I'm most comfortable when I'm not the only one in the group from the LGBTQ+ or neurodiverse crowd.
Hello! My wife and I are looking for a group currently too. Let me know if you are interested in playing together. We're mainly looking to be players, but I've always wanted to try DMing too. I just don't know if I'm experienced enough to be a DM. We're located in Vancouver and are looking to playing after 6PM PST on Monday, Wednesday, or thursdays.
Hi I was wondering if you still had a couple of spots left. Me and my friend are interested in joining, My friend is fairly new so I was wondering if it’s okay for them to join
I'm looking for a group rather than having one, but would be willing to put one together once we have a few people; I'll message you with contact info.
For anyone else reading -- still looking for group or players and DM/co-DM!

The timing works for me; if you're still looking (or looking for one more), send me a message and we can figure out Discord/email/etc.
