Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online, Free-to-play Experience: I first played D&D with the Red Box in '85. I've been playing 5e for about a month. For the past couple of decades, my only experience was in playing on a persistent world of Neverwinter Nights. For the past several weeks, as well as in NN, and when I was younger, I was always the DM. Always the DM, never the player. I'd love an opportunity to focus on playing merely one character for a while rather than being the one to juggle all the pieces. My experience as a DM, though, makes me a player who greatly appreciates the time and effort that goes into DMing. Location/Timezone: US Central Availability: Once-per-week, Sunday-Thursday, 8-11pm. I know that's a narrow window. It's right after the kid gets to bed and not too late that I'm going to hear about it from my wife in the morning. Update: Saturday morning works, too, and weekdays morning or early afternoon might work, but some weeks I might have to take off (it's all dependent on the kid's school schedule). Preferred role: Player Game style: Any. Slight preference for an established setting rather than homebrew.
I'm going to comment here so I may follow. I'm under very similar time restrictions for very similar reasons (more so that those times are outside of my needing to be a dad taxi for my teenage son). Need to be at home with a calender to properly commit to something like this.
