My name is Caleb and I've been a DM and player for 6 years. I'm an actor, writer, stage manager, and director that has fallen in love with TTRPGs and wants to share my passion with the world! In addition, my education in acting and directing has given me years of experience outside of TTRPGs in collaborative, improvisational storytelling. I pride myself on my engaging NPCs, cinematic storytelling, challenging combat encounters, and integrating character backstories into the grander plot. My tables are queer friendly and bigot hostile.
A divine force has locked the land of Icewind Dale in frozen night for almost 2 years. The north's thin connection to the Sword Coast has been completely cut off, and now the people of Icewind Dale must fend for themselves.
Rumors whisper of shadowy figures forging a devastating weapon in the mountains, and remnants of an ancient civilization stir deep beneath the ice.
No one is coming to save you. You must save yourselves.
Stormreach is the largest outpost on the continent of Xen'drik, an uncharted jungle cursed by the Traveler to be virtually impossible to map. Aptly named the City of Dungeons, Stormreach's sprawling cityscape is built atop multiple generations of ruins long left abandoned.
Within one of these hidden chambers a group of explorers has released an ancient power that demands to be worshipped. Its cult will spread through the cracks and crevices of Stormreach until all who reside there know its name... THE GODFORGED.
Have you heard its whisperings? Is your will strong enough to resist its thrall? Or will you and your party succumb to its twisted influence?
yes it's very okay! i've gathered resources for new players to look over and i help integrate characters into the lore as best as i can so new players feel like they're part of the world before they go out and learn more as we play.
Join a band of level 4 heroes as they return to Cliffscrape with the knowledge that the Fey Circus they were tracking and a Sinister Knight controlling local orc clans actually serve the same master. The sahuagin seem to be connected to these groups in some way as well, but as of now that information remains just out of reach...
Cliffscrape is a sleepy coastal town on the eastern shores of Khorvaire, a union of dwarven and orcish culture whose safety hangs delicately in the balance. Between fierce orc raiders to the west, greedy Lhazaar pirates to the east, and creeping nightmare spirits to the north, Cliffscrape is in desperate need of protection. Through a stroke of luck the players will find themselves responsible for the people of Cliffscrape, requiring them to build defenses and rally the town's militia against all kinds of threats. Unknown to Cliffscrape and even greater Khorvaire, an unseen threat brews beneath the ocean's surface: a force that watches Cliffscrape with fascination and plans to threaten even the safety of Eberron itself...

This looks really interesting. Is it ok if a player isn't familiar with the Eberron setting/hasn't played in that setting before?
